Moldavite
The transluscent green stones known as Moldavite are the olny known gems from space. They are grouped by scientists with the mysterious glassy objects called Tektites. Moldavite fell over what is now The Czech Republic about 14.8 million years ago. Scientists still debate whether tektites are true merteorites or are formed by the fusion of meteoric materials with earthly rock. Moldavite was prized by early humans for tools and amulets some 25,000 years ago.
In legend, it is believed Moldavite was the green stone in the Holy Grail and has the power to quicken one's spiritual evolution.Even people not sensitive to the energies of stones, often feel the energy of Moldavite. Many sense it as heat, tingling, or pulsing sensation through their body, usually upwards out the top of their head. Moldavite's high vibrational energy is a powerful chakra opener, particularly at the heart and above. Sleeping with moldavite activates the Dream State.
