Good Luck Stones

Dear Susan,

My dad received the meteorite yesterday, and he is SOOO excited. I warned him not to hurt his back trying to pick it up!!

And here is another exciting story that I must share, and you are welcome to use it as a blog if you’d like (short though it is).

Unfortunately, my younger brother lost his job earlier this year. It had nothing to do with something he did, or didn’t do. He is a dedicated and hard worker, and has a friendly and good-humored nature. Everybody loves him! He was just in the wrong place (construction/contracting) at the wrong time (less than a year out of college).

His birthday was this February, and among other things, I sent him a couple of tumbled Citrine stones. I didn’t tell him any of the specific properties of citrine, but just to keep them in his pocket for good luck. Guess what? He got hired. I’m so happy for him. He says he loves carrying the stones in his pocket.

My brother is a gifted and bright guy. I know that any company would be lucky to have him, and that he was hired because of his experience and talent. At the same time, it never hurt anyone to just keep a stone in their pocket.
